    Miller syncrowave 210 tig welder

He didn't want to deal so I am looking elsewhere. Thanks for all the input.

    Who's got lathes?

That is a problem I have run into. Also, if milling smaller parts, you end up with the quill all the way down, or as you see in my picture, stack the part up on top of a big block of material. I have thought about moving the mill section to a separate stand built heavy enough to handle it. I got...

    Miller syncrowave 210 tig welder

No tank, but I already have an argon tank. From the serial number, it looks like about a 2015 model. I go to my ac/dc stick welder for 3/16" and above steel. I am looking at this for sheet metal, exhaust pipe and about 1/8" or thinner aluminum so I'm thinking this is about the size I need...

    Miller syncrowave 210 tig welder

I am looking at a Miller syncrowave 210 tig welder for $1800. Don't know tig yet. I started putting together some equipment to try tig with a Craftsman ac/dc stick welder and a Miller HF251D high frequency box. Just wondering if this would be a better way to go and if it is a decent price. The...

    Too many impact drivers?

You can call them whatever you want, but he still used a pair of pliers. The reason they make so many tools is so you can use the right tool for the job.

    First welder: MIG or multi-process?

I actually use stick the most. I have tractors and alot of what I do is thick steel. I have aquired pieces of older equipment fairly cheap over the years. It all works. What you need is totally dependent on what you need to do.]

    Who's got lathes?

All of you all have real lathes. I bought an older Shoptask 3 in 1 mill, drill, lathe. It's smaller and doesn't take up a lot of space. It is very handy though. I can chuck up a brake drum or rotor and clean it up. Plus, I have made a spin on oil filter adapter for my old tractor and a power...

    Rebar and Anchor Bolts

I brought rebar verticle out of the slab every 4' and used open block on top row. Then tied a run of rebar horizontal on top, poured block full and then 12" j-bolts every 2'. Maybe overkill, but I am not worried about anything moving.

Dealing with freight deliveries without loading dock.

I pulled the engine out of a JD 490E excavator that weighs around 900 lbs. It was about all I could pick up with it. The Case930 that my lift is on has a box in front full of railroad track iron. The front didn't lift but the lift cylinder was about maxed out.

    Carbon monoxide headache

Co tends to mix with air and flow with the air. Since the air was warmed by the heater, you could have had a higher concentration in the attic as opposed to where your detector is located.

    Too many impact drivers?

Too bad the guy doesn't know the difference between a wrench and a pair of pliers.
