That's a cool little press and welcome to the Forum. I'd try to talk you out of it if you weren't so far. I have a friend with the last name of Weaver and i'd buy it for him.
I made my own Power Draw Bar, you can find it on here somewhere. It's made from a couple different things. A horrible freight butterfly air wrench, and a Bosch Plunge Router base. Of course I did other things as well but, it works great.
I have an outdoor Vise. It's mounted on a steel post set in Concrete. It's a rock island and it takes a 50 gallon plastic barrel to cover it, keeps the weather off of it. I LOVE MY OUTDOOR VISE.
I didn't read every post in this thread but, I don't plan to use it at all, not for drinking,
washing, or heating the floor. There is too much risk with plastic bursting, mice or other rodents chewing on it and ruining your floors,
causing mold or sagging floors.
We have some Starrett Pink Granite at work, I don't recall that many voids.
I saw. BLOOD RED Granite Plate one time, not sure of the hardness or quality but it was Awesome, I wanted it bad but couldn't buy it at the time. I still want one.
I may be a little late but, I'm going to say it anyway. The rest of the crapola laying around all over the place and the broken concrete wheel stop appear to be more of a hazard than the asphalt. I say clean the place up and you'll be much better off without messing with the pavement.
If someone is up in the middle of the night munching and they don't have the simple common courtesy to not slam the drawers then, the soft close mech. is nice because they aren't going to wake someone up as easily.
My idea is to buy two of these, have them facing away from each other, and add a single or two drawer middle box to the top to link them together so that it more or less turns it into a toolbox/Desk I can use out on the floor for machine repair.
Does anyone have an Artman 7 drawer Tool Box? They are on the smaller side but I'm curious about the quality.

First thing I noticed is how hard it is just to open a drawer just because of the new crappy locking system on the drawers. No way I would buy one because of that main reason. I also liked the smaller drawers on the series 2.
No way in hell they are worth the price increase. 399.00 for a lower...
