    Dake Arbor Press help

When people paint machines like that, I can pretty much guarantee you they don't know how it works, if they did, they wouldn't have painted over the pins like that because that appears to be a compound press, probably a 12 or 15 Ton and by sliding a pin from one side to another, you can go from...

I live in Florida, do I want gas?

With an infrared heater you don't need electricity, they have a battery powered ignitor, it flares up, gets hot and heats.

I live in Florida, do I want gas?

It's always good to have more than one heat source. What if it drops to 25 degrees for a week and the electricity is out from an ice storm? With in infrared/gas heater you can always heat your house. Don't buy blue flame heaters, get an infrared.

    Bridgeport power drawbar question

I made my own Power Draw Bar, you can find it on here somewhere. It's made from a couple different things. A horrible freight butterfly air wrench, and a Bosch Plunge Router base. Of course I did other things as well but, it works great.

My vise isn't mounted permanent. The stand is bolted down with threaded rod and the vise is bolted to the stand, both removable.

Separating metal working from other areas

I have an outdoor Vise. It's mounted on a steel post set in Concrete. It's a rock island and it takes a 50 gallon plastic barrel to cover it, keeps the weather off of it. I LOVE MY OUTDOOR VISE.

PEX confusion - is this just marketing?

I didn't read every post in this thread but, I don't plan to use it at all, not for drinking, washing, or heating the floor. There is too much risk with plastic bursting, mice or other rodents chewing on it and ruining your floors, causing mold or sagging floors.

Asphalt Millings atop existing asphalt parking lot

I may be a little late but, I'm going to say it anyway. The rest of the crapola laying around all over the place and the broken concrete wheel stop appear to be more of a hazard than the asphalt. I say clean the place up and you'll be much better off without messing with the pavement.

Easy pull / Soft close drawer slides?

If someone is up in the middle of the night munching and they don't have the simple common courtesy to not slam the drawers then, the soft close mech. is nice because they aren't going to wake someone up as easily.

    Artman Tool Box

My idea is to buy two of these, have them facing away from each other, and add a single or two drawer middle box to the top to link them together so that it more or less turns it into a toolbox/Desk I can use out on the floor for machine repair.
