I have a complete 1948 3/8 drive ratchet and socket set , same as yours with the exception, the ratchets have a stylized 8 on them.

I had the same problem, as the condensate has a little bit of a trickle it will freeze. So what I did was place rock salt into the condensate drain line and the trickle now has a touch of salt in it and does not freeze.

When ever I am by a thrift type store I buy all the terry cloth towels. Usually get a big bag for one to two bucks, best rags ever.

You have assembled the lift wrong. There are 2 sets of locks one manual and 1 sets up if a cable breaks, looks like you have the cable safety brake on wrong
