Need ideas for building a movable 10X10 insulated wall

I have a steel building shop with 10 X 10 roll up doors on each end. I have the entire shop spray foamed for insulation and have a mini split havc unit to install. The problem is that all this is defeated by the steel roll-up doors and the huge opening at the top of the of the door opening and...

    Mini split BTU question

I have a new question now. I see that the design is for the copper plumbing to run out of the back of the unit and through the wall to the outside, turn down then connect to the outside unit. Is there any reason why I could not run the copper plumbing down the inside wall to an existing hole...

    Mini split BTU question

Now that I have it in hand it is a 12K BTU. I was searching based on the max square foot rating thinking it was a 24K. I think it will fit in great.

    Mini split BTU question

RKA- I am in South Georgia just above the Florida line. I decided that for $500 I might as well go for it. It has to be better than the little robot looking portable that I have right now. The (very) small tank in it has to be emptied at least twice a day to keep it running.

    Mini split BTU question

His room was only 120 square feet and he would have to run the heat for a while before it would cool. The cycle time was way too short to remove the humidity from the room and cool it right.

    Mini split BTU question

That was what I was hoping. It is hard to beat a hardly used $2K plus unit for $500. I figured it might be worth taking the chance.

    Mini split BTU question

I have the chance to get a nice Samsung 24000 BTU mini split unit that a buddy installed in a tiny room. The long story short is that it was too big of a unit to run in a 12 X 12 room. My shop is 20 X 25 with 9 ft walls with no windows. Will this unit be too large for my shop and create the...

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

The email I saw had the blasting cabinet for 189 I believe. Is that the lowest coupon right now?

Show me your dual side by side 33"-41" boxes

OK, Woodrail that is pretty nice. I like the bin cart stored out of the way like that. I was trying to figure out what to do with a 18 inch space I have between benches where I need a partial wall to separate them. This is it.

    Tooling organization

Nice, got to love that CNC machine. I'll be doing mine manually once I finish my current project. When you do your garage write up, don't skimp or leave the mill out. There are at least a couple metal working guys here that I have noticed.

    Tooling organization

Wow, love this thread. I have 2 sheets of the green on the way from woodcraft(they have a Christmas $10 off right now that saved the shipping) I'll spend the next couple of weeks organizing my taps and endmill drawer. Any chance of getting a picture of the framing that those pull out cabinets...

    20x20 Metal Building Interior Question

I think the spray foam was about 1K, they were hurting for work and I had cash. Win/win. I have seen what happens to regular insulation in a metal building in the south. I forgot that I added 1x4 horizontally to the metal studs to attach the wall covering to.

    20x20 Metal Building Interior Question

Here is one with the spray insulation in. I'll see what I can do about other pics. I pretty much covered the walls once it was finished. My walls are 9 feet tall and the building is 20 X 25. While small, it is a workshop only, not a garage for parking. One word of advise is to have the...

    20x20 Metal Building Interior Question

I have the same kind, I had spray foam insulation put on the walls and ceiling. I then covered the celing with sheetrock, the top 4 feet of the walls with plywood, the middle 2 feet I put pegboard all around and the bottom I sheetrocked. Then I ran the electrical on the walls in conduit.
