I used the General version to drill dozens of 3/4" dog-holes in a 3" maple workbench. They turned out fine, including perfectly square. It is not 'high-end', and from the previous comment, the quality may have deteriorated since I got mine long ago.

I've had it for a long time, but I have a small bottle (maybe 10 ounces) of the Starrett surface plate cleaner. A gallon would do much more cleaning than I would ever do.

The Taunton Press (publisher of Fine Woodworking, Fine Homebuilding, etc.) has (had?) a book on built-in storage. They had one idea very similar to the second picture. If I made the first one, I'd definitely use self-closing drawer slides. I'm pretty sure it still wouldn't be allowed here...
