    One easier way is to paint the floor the same color as the tiles on the outside.

    Could be a sensor problem. If you could disconnect the sensors from the brackets. Attach the 2 of them together so they are facing each other. Then wire them back up to the motor to see if the door goes down when pressing the button.

    In order to get electric for the lights I had to buy lights. They would not put an outlet in the ceiling, probably because it would have to be GFI.

    I have a 4 in lip on both sides of my floor that runs about 15 feet in the sloping part of the garage. The consultant from Race Deck suggested running full tiles between the slopes and painting the 1.5-inch edge on either side of the full tiles the same color as the tile on the outside edge...

    Best paint for garage walls?

    The reason I have not replied is that it took 15 months to build my house. I ended up doing the Harbor Grey flat walls with a white ceiling. Just finished doing the lights last week. Now I'm trying to come up with a design for a Race Deck floor and some New Age cabinets :)

    You might want to move your emergency release cord so that it cannot be reached by breaking out a window on the garage door. Thieves will break the window. Reach in. Disconnect and then just push up the garage door.
