What's with the BJ press in the video? Looks like a BJP1 frame (more or less), but no locking cups maybe?

    OTC CA7149 - new? BJP1 fighter? Where's AP?

Nah, that one had been out for awhile before AP was talking about anything (publicly) I think it's interesting but seems less versatile....maybe I'm wrong as I've never touched one In any case, thread resolved AFAIC. I'm glad OTC did this because competition is good for us and while the BJP1...

    OTC CA7149 - new? BJP1 fighter? Where's AP?

Soooo....OTC is just willing to deal with the legal action, or they're more chummy with Snappy, or something else? If this stands does it not set precedent for you to release yours in the US??

    OTC CA7149 - new? BJP1 fighter? Where's AP?

I just saw the CA7149. Appears to be newly released? It holds various cups in a ball joint press like the BJP1. Best pricing I found during a cursory search was JB Tools at ~$477. That's still way better than retail on a BJP1 I tried searching for "CA7149" on this forum with zero results...

Snap On Impact Extensions/Universal Joints - Ball vs Pin

REVIVAL It's apparently normal for IP82 swivels to just have a thru hole and no pin or ball? What am I not understanding?

MAC Tools compared with Snap-On, other automotive brands

Really, I find I'm just disappointed in GJ here. Most replies have been balanced and reasonable, and even include measured reasons to back up the opinions stated. This will just never do, it should have devolved into a name-calling insult-fest by now. Geez. As for the actual topic, I'm no...

What scan tool to bleed abs module

Copy thank you! My decades of collecting hasn't netted much that threads onto a tube nut, but I hoard the mc plugs for bench bleeding along with any caps that come with steering racks, p/s pumps etc

Fresh off the truck, still has the plastic banding around the case. $700 OTD

What scan tool to bleed abs module

I looked at the pics as best I could and watched the vid from Speedway but from what I can tell the caps are just thin plastic caps that push on? I think that's just to prevent dirt ingress in shipping or storage but wouldn't stop (but may slow) gravity flow. I may just be stuck yanking the...

Make an arbor press a ratcheting arbor press

I thought it'd be cool to build an uber-duty version of the quick quill handles for vertical mills -- essentially a pin that indexes in a round plate with a spring to hold it together after you've selected your position. But that's just me being a keyboard machinist -- I'll never take the time...

What scan tool to bleed abs module

Speaking of that, is it possible to get female "plugs" for line fittings to keep the mc from draining? I know one could cobble something together but it'd be nice to just have an assortment of plugs that thread on the line nut. They wouldn't need to hold actual brake line pressure, just stop...

What scan tool to bleed abs module

Copy that, not sure how much I'll use it immediately. But I ordered because I don't currently have anything bidirectional so if it works the price was good for the (alleged) capability

What scan tool to bleed abs module

Incidentally, these are down right now for Cyber Monday (although it was also active all day Sunday) from ~$330 to ~$260 The reviews on Xtool's other scanners are hit or miss -- exactly what you'd expect for Chinese -- so caveat emptor. I did go ahead and pull the trigger at $260 because it's...

Thanks 2GR. And I've seen you say in a couple different threads the GM's are all rotted out and gone in your area.....which is just crazy to me 'cuz GMT800s are still EVERYWHERE here in CO. Same country but different worlds it seems....

What scan tool to bleed abs module

I've always felt for appearance sake if nothing else it might be nice to have something a bit more professional for customers' cars..... plus I'm a little distrusting this is guaranteed to work in every scenario, and afterward don't you still then have to bleed the air that was pushed from the...
