Beats me. The building is definitely from the 50's I wasn't born until mid 70's. There isn't asbestos in old cinder blocks is there? I know they put it in dam near everything back then. I can remember the house I grew up in had asbestos insulation, floor tiles and siding.

A plc would work great are you using the lap timer for quarter mile or a real complete lap? If you did the quarter mile you would need a eye for the start and finish if your doing a complete lap you could do a flip-flop circuit.

I didn't really see anyone say it but, a good quality wire nut such as Ideal does a great job no mater what. I've used generics and the inside sleeves twists apart before you get any *** into twisting the wires tight.
