    Anyone know about Atlas Scothguard roof shingles?

    RUN, RUN, RUN ! No good reason any roofer uses an ATLAS shingle......PERIOD. Your roofer either bought these for next to nothing and is trying to knock your head off or is having money problems and can't get credit or pay for the shingles to do the job from a reputable supply house.

    I don't get how these new cards are much safer until they remove the magnetic strip . You still can have your card skimmed as long as it is there. it appears many merchants and gas pumps will continue to use the old technology for the foreseeable future.

    Go to your local library and look at the back issues of Family Handyman. They are always doing tool test comparisons. They will test 6 or 7 different models and give you a breakdown with pros and cons of each brand. Will give each brand a score, pick a best of category, and a best buy.

    OSB will expand and contract significantly depending on the humidity. If you **** the edges it will bow and pop. Been there done that.
