Main panel full; how to wire subpanel?

Yes, I believe the entire house is wired with multiwire branch circuits since all the wires leaving the panel are 3+ground, and each of the red/black goes to a separate breaker. Thanks for the suggestions. Seems like my only choice is to move a couple of the circuits to the load panel.

Main panel full; how to wire subpanel?

Apologies if this specific problem has already been discussed, but the forum search seems very one-dimensional and returns every topic containing any of the search words. I have a main panel (picture attached) that is almost full except for one more slot on the left bus. I need to run a 240v...

What's minimum garage concrete slab thickness in Colorado?

Trying to find out the minimum thickness and density that's poured for attached garage concrete slabs here in Colorado. Looking to move into a new home and the two-post lift requires at least 4" of 3000psi concrete or better. I found some published code for detached garages that say minimum of...

    Playing with Sketchup

Just started using Sketchup and trying to visualize the new garage with a lift and cabinets. I might have the dimensions a bit off because it looks like the lift takes up most of my two bays to the right. Very neat tool; I've only scratched the surface.

Anyone use jacks on their 4-post lifts?

Moving into a new home with a 12' ceiling (finally) and will be getting a lift. Right now, I'm leaning towards the 4-post lifts because I don't want to have to drill into my garage floor to mount a 2-post. But, I work on my cars often enough that taking the tires off is a common task. Is...

HOA says "No" to external toolshed. What to do?

Thanks for all of the answers that didn't involve uprooting my family or man-whoring with the covenant members. I might look into the playhouse idea.

HOA says "No" to external toolshed. What to do?

The title pretty sums it up. No sheds, temporary or permanent, can be added to the outside of the property, regardless of whether it's attached to the house or not. I want one to house the lawn mower, etc. What options have I got, or what creative solutions have others come up to get around this?

    Cat 5 Internet Cable Help

You can't splice the wires because you'll reduce the signal sent to the receiving routers/switches/NICs. If you want to "branch" out more ports for the line, you need a device in the middle like a router/switch/bridge which not only acts as a traffic relay but also a signal booster.
