Tried that...the #8-32 seemed to fit on the screw index. At home the screws don't thread in. Maybe i will try another store. The store index screw is probably pretty worn and the new screw threads a little too much. Thanks

Want to add this handle to my box top lid. What kind of screws are used? I saw in a thread mention of #8 hex head sheet metal screws..they don't seem to thread in. Tried #8-32 screws. The screws don't start...Am i supposed to just drive them in? Does it need threaded?

Tried a locksmith...they were not much help. I've got some locks ordered. Fingers crossed.

The drawer cabinets require 180 degree turn to lock right?

Just picked up an old 3 piece Mac Economizer 2000 cabinet on Clist. No keys and all the locks have a different 3 digit number on the face by the keyway. Am I correct in assuming that these cylinders don't match and would take a different key? I want to make sure before I get replacement locks.
