The stubby wrenches are exclusive to Mac, The Mac "edge system" will take of a 70% rounded bolt by its design. They are made with US steel and shipped to Taiwan to be assembled and returned to the states for sale. I buy the Mac edge whenever possable because the system really works!
Here's the deal guys... Yes, everyone would buy American and here are the key words "if they can afford it" But the truth is we as Americans have done this to our selfs. I recently bought a 1 1/2 wrench from my Mac guy and paid over $120.00 for it! Why so much, American labor rate and US steel...
I've had my Mac Tools "ZR26" for years now, it's taken a lot of abuse over the years, even with the help of a bobcat to break some nuts loose it's held up well!!
My 2 cents, I have a B&S HP 5000W Coleman pull start bought new. I run it has a back-up for the house when the power goes out. It will run all the lites 2 freezers TV and furnace along with two room fans with no problem. I start it a few times a year to make sure all is in order. I keep it full...
I prefer Proto because it is backed by the Stanley Tool Co. Don't get me wrong Wright are good tools, they are the company that makes Snap-on blue point line.

Trust me on this one, the Mac one has a life time warrenty (don't know about the Snap-on) there is a differance between the cheap ones and the tool truck guys. If your only going to use it once and a while get the cheep one.....
Matco and Cornwell hardline tools are not made buy the company name sakes, Danaher is owner of Matco like Stanley owns Mac. Snap on tools are mostly made by the Wright tool company which are very good tools and are US made although some are from Taiwan. Want to see something cool, look at a De...
