Another issue might be the landing outside the door. With an in swinging door my town allows the landing to a step down from the floor grade. For an out swinging door they require it to be at floor grade.

I checked my dies and some have them and some do not. They are on 2, 2-1/2 or 3" bolt circle depending on the size of the dies. Some are 1/2" some are 1". I do not remember ever using them.
Got the air hooked up and here it is with the ram extended. The stroke is about 2”. Measured 10 tons force mid stroke at 100 psi.
