Yes I’ve had one for about two years and I used it to find an evap leak in Chevy Colorado
I’ve also used it to find vacuum leaks in few cars
I am not a pro mechanic just a hot rodder
It’s pretty simple to use, you need an air compressor and I used baby oil to create the smoke.
It’s helpful if...
I’m on the other side of the state and my son just finished his first year as an IBEW apprentice. He was in the same situation as you but moved back in with us for financial reasons. He is also 25, trained as a machinist at Penn College for a year, but didn’t like the field. He ran a tree...

I would make one suggestion and that would be a taller garage door. I have an f250 pickup and it didn’t quite clear the eight foot doors of my old garage

I just finished the installation of a 24k system and used the bracket to hang it on my wood frame garage. The unit is smooth and I did this after a friend installed a 36k unit on a metal building with the wall bracket and it worked out well.

I'm installing a branch circuit to a panel in my new attached garage. Its fed from the main panel in the house.
My question is I'm unable to run it through the wall completely do I need to enclose the cable in PVC or other pipe to meet code?
It looks like a 90 degree turn will be needed...
Thanks for the responses I'm going to install the anchor pots and I may consider mounting my winch differently this time.
This is where I'm at now and the floor is scheduled to be poured on the 27th

In my old garage I had a battery operated winch bolted to the floor that I used to pull cars into my garage that were disabled.
The winch took up floor space and was a trip hazard.
I'm considering installing Anchor Pots in my new garage floor and using them to secure my winch when I need to...
I use my welder maybe once a month for all different odd jobs around the shop. The bottle is about four feet tall and I haven’t re filled it in about 5 years. If your son is learning to weld I would expect your usage rate to be higher. Also remember to turn the bottle off when you are not...
