I've had a Facom FCMS161 1/2 Ratchet for a couple years now its been great and always my go to 1/2 ratchet.

well I'm now the owner of the Mac AWP050 Mac guy done a top deal n threw in a protective cover some oil and few other freebies :D. Hopefully it stands the test of time.

Looking at either snap on mg725 or the Mac awp050 both snap on and mac guys are good who come round work. So what do I go for? Will be working on AG equipment mostly so some tough going. Thanks in advance.

Its an old gray handled one im also begining to loose trust in it though i really miss it when its not there!

So today i was torqueing down a cyl head and my wrench stopped vibrating and would flash battery and go off, obviously iv tried batterys and the connections in the cap all look in good order? Has any 1 any ideas or is it going to be a snap on repair? Thanks in advance folks

Thanks for replies iv never heard of williams tools before here in uk?? We get snap on and mac trucks round every week so il see who will give me a good deal but the mac guy can be a bit of an *** at times! We will see

Been lookin into some 1/2 impact sockets deep up to 32mm are the snap on ones worth the money? Il be using them daily and my old set is a mix up and some are well worn or broke. Thanks

Rico how did you go about paying the import tax or was it included in the shipping price. Sounds like you got a good deal ive a couple facom 1/2 ratchets and there always the first i pick up to use!

How about the other way round has any of you fellow uk guys bought used/new tools from us on ebay and how do you get aroun an import duty some snap on or higher quality tools seem so much cheaper over the pond. Thanks

The tools i could list would go on and on for this job. The most important is using your head though and getting things going even a tempory fix if no parts are available or esp in harvest time when them wheels must keep turning and the farmer is jumping up and down. (Iv learned to ignore them...
