Using the manual raising override I figured out it is one or both of the sensors in the pit stopping it from engaging. I was able to manually close the emergency release valve to test it out and it worked. So new sensors and new release valve and hopefully be good to go.

Yeh when I was trying to manually lower I used a small flat head to try and loosen the valve but wouldn’t turn so tried a wrench but then it cracked and now spins feeely.

So I'm trying to get everything in working order, cleaned up all the corrosion and a lot of the rust and all the connections look good now. Unfortunately, the lift is stuck up a few feet right now. It is resting on the safety's but I can't build any pressure to raise it off the safety whether...

I also realized I never posted my resolution from the problem with the locks not engaging. It was just a faulty air line (different from the one I’m having problems with now).

Hey guys- at the base of the lift where one of the air lines comes in the connection somehow came Loose. Can anyone help with what exactly this piece is/part number/ howto replace it?

Does anyone have any idea why suddenly the locks are not engaging? Goes up and down ok but the teeth wont fall into the locks

So I have a vaulted ceiling over my lift. What is the best way to hang an air hose reel so that I don't have to worry that it will fall on my car every time I try to pull the hose?

My understanding was that inline lubrication was good for mechanic air tools. Can always turn off the lubricator when I need just air

It’s for air tools. Nothing too heavy but basic mechanic work

So I bought the rapid air home garage kit and I’ll be setting it up tomorrow. It’s 3/8 ID. I picked up a combo air filter/regulator/lubricator but accidentally got 1/4”. Will this be ok or should I return for a 3/8?

Anyone have any experience with Rapidair? I have a 60 gal DeWALT compressor with a 3/4 air outlet and am thinking about using them to route my air lines.
