I've used Graber buildings in the past. Very good price and quality. Not a lot of customization. Kirkham buildings out of Delaware county is excellent! But you will pay for it.
My shop is 30 x 40, 12/12 pitch with 12' sidewalls. The attic trusses were designed with 2x10 bottom cords. The maximum size room was 17' wide, 40' long with an 8 ' ceiling.
I know this isn't a standard style vise but for some reason I draw to this style! I know they are "pipe vises" but that is all I know. Does anyone out there collect them? This is my second one I've purchased. The other one is about half this size. What kind of value would you put on it?
I have been happy with them! They are good for light weight items, screw drivers, wrenches, sanding disks, etc. I keep all my automotive sanding blocks, sand paper and respirators in them.
I have been in construction for 23 years now, so I know there are many options to fix this problem! The only reason I mentioned this repair method is because most "home owners" can do this and end up with a very nice ceiling without all the mess! If you screw the furring strips into the actual...
Install 1x4 furring strips over the entire ceiling 16" on center with construction adhesive and 3" screw. Run them perpendicular to the ceiling joist and drywall the entire ceiling! You will thank me later because the loose plaster will never stop releasing!
This isn't as important for a interior liner panel but I will caution you that most metal companies void your warranty if you cut the panel with a saw or cut off wheel! It heats up the paint and causes issues such as rust. Snips don't produce heat therefore, they are the preferred method of cutting.
Im a general contractor of 22 years. I will not use the GE silicon II ever again. I have the same issue every time I use it. It won't "tool" correctly! It's like the exterior layer dries instantly and smears! And yes, I know how to caulk!
OSI quad is the best caulking on the market!!!
Take paint thinner and put it on a rag. wet your finger with it and smooth out the caulking bead. It really makes a difference! Don't forget to lay the rag out flat to dry!
