Thanks! That was the idea. Would not hesitate to load 5-tons on this bad boy. The bottom shelf is currently loaded up with tools and Pontiac iron. I can use a 2x4 as a lever to move the whole thing around if need be.GRX - Great job.. that bench looks like it could support my entire car!
NiceI built this one a few years ago, she's pretty solid!!

Wow! Is that in a hospital operating room? [emoji6] Super nice!
It's a work in progress! I still need to finish the cap on top of the half wall.
Are you happy with the little husky boxes? I've been thinking about picking a couple of them up.
Here is mind. Its 16 feet long and 28" deep and 40" tall.
Framed up, its attached to the wall with a ledger board and then has front legs that are attached to the lower base/shelf. It has a doubled up 5/8" ply wood top.

Two years later I'm finally getting around to finishing this bench... Can I get some opinions please? I just added leveling feet to the bench(not shown) and I'm going to float the chest on a 1/2 piece of plywood.
Should I paint the legs black, red, or leave them natural? What do you guys think?

Black or I think gray would look nice to match your cabinets on the left.
Gray was the right choice... Thanks for the idea, I would have done black or red.
That turned out great man! Black probably would have been nice too. But gray looks awesome. I like the whole setup!
That looks great although I'm biased to Red & Gray combo........

Was going to build one, but then this one came up cheap on craigslist and brought it home. It's not pretty but it's a workhorse. The guy I bought it from bought it from an oilfield service company's shop when they were moving. Then I bought it from him when he was moving. It still has tape and sticker pieces I need to scrape off you can see on the front edge which are a legacy of its time at the oilfield company for some reason. Need to mount a vise on it. The other workbench to the side is a Seville Classic.
