    Help ID these tools

Good call on the second one, guys. I know my grandfather did a good bit of engine work, so that makes sense he'd have that. I'm still leaning towards to seal installer on the second one as well. Thanks! I'll post up if he finds more. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Could the first one be some type of universal seal driver? Tighten the bolt down to spread the appropriate step enough to fit tight, then smack it home with a hammer? It seems made strong enough to take some swings from a hammer and not damage the tool. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

The second: He just sent me this picture maybe 5 minutes ago, and I have no clue. I dont know if there is anything stamped on it, but I'm guessing by the condition that you couldn't read it if there was. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Help ID these tools

My dad inherited my grandfather's tool box quite a few years ago, but only used the usual tools (sockets, wrenches, etc). He never got into some of the more specialized tools in the bottom of the tool box. During Hurricane Harvey, the tool box was submerged in 7 foot of water, and now my...

Mono Slab Cracks- 1.5 weeks old

We pour 4000 psi slabs daily and like said above, they only crack when the contractor doesn't know what they're doing. I'm going to agree with shrinkage cracks, but for a different reason... How much rain has your area had lately? If it's been DRY dry, go by the batch plant that the mud came...

    Concrete Quote

As a plant manager/batchman for a ready-mix facility, I agree with this 100%. All of our mixes with the exception of a handful, use flyash. Even our industrial mixes. And they all break well over spec from 7 days all the way to 28. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Nomination for "BEST Automotive Maintenance Feature Ever"

Water pump and radiator on the 6.7 cummins in an '07 Dodge Ram. Changed both in under an hour and a half. Only thing that would have made it easier is a petcock or drain plug on the radiator.

Pouring a slab in 90+ heat

X2, unless you can pour all the trucks at once! Simply find a company with a chiller or is set up to throw ice. Shouldn't be hard to find. We have 2 big contracts we're supplying the concrete for right now, and they are both "temperature controlled". One averages 250 yds per day, with (25)...

    Hein-Werner 55-R: Worth keeping?

It is, but I have floor and air jacks at my disposal. I'll never use it, just didn't want to trash it if it's worth anything. Thanks

    Hein-Werner 55-R: Worth keeping?

Cleaning out my shop, and I've had this thing in the way since we bought the house. It doesn't lift at all, so I'd need to rebuild it at the least. Are these worth anything? Don't want to buy a $30 rebuild kit if it's going to be worth $35 when I'm done and I have no use for it.

    Tool ID

Coworker was given a 5 gal bucket of rusty tools that were going to the trash. Usual assortment of tools, with a few exceptions that deserve a You **** (handful of ratchet wrenches, and a reversible Snapon torque wrench) He brought these pliers to me, asking what they were. My first thought...
