    New Post-Modern Garage/Workshop

Awesome build and everything else. Great to see that you were able to maximize space in that part of town as well. Congrats and can't wait to see the 'final' product.

Anyone have pics of pegboard instead of drywall

Hmm, two of my buddies did this same thing in their garages and do use them for storage. Don't have pix on me, but can in a couple days. I helped one of them insulate behind and then tack up all the board, really brightened the place up and gives tons of options. Substantially cheaper and...

    My under $4000.00 garage renovation

Looks good, very nice and clean! I love chalkboard paint, actually have it on my woodworking bench for measurements, on my pegboard thinking I would outline tools (didn't work out) and another section of it hiding some storage on a workbench that we too use for notes, lists, etc.

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The 12-Gauge Garage

Every time I see this garage I really enjoy it. It is clean, simple and basic (but just on the surface). Once you get into the depth of the entire area it becomes evident that so much work and thought went into every aspect. As has been said before, you're an inspiration Jack. Thanks for...

    Let's talk screwdrivers.

I'm really enjoying my new Weras. My Cman pros aren't bad either but I do prefer the laser tips and handles that Wera uses.

    New Addition to the Cave

Dig it! I put a 32" last September and it helps keep me out there. the more I am in the garage the more I get accomplished. The only issue is that between DIY, SPEED and WFN channels my want/hobby list keeps growing!

    Frustrated with Home Depot

Sure thing, here it is. In all honesty it is nothing super special but I am switching over all my gear from Ryobi to Ridgid and the drill (recently purchased) and impact driver are what I use most, so I was willing to track them down with vigor. Anyway, thanks for all the comments guys...

    Frustrated with Home Depot

Really strange turn of events here... so I walked in to one of the HDs I hit and was about to go talk to the manager. All the while I was picking up a couple small other things for a project and decided to swing by the power tools sections...sitting there is only 1 driver marked at $49.99. As...

    Frustrated with Home Depot

Thanks for the suggestions guys. There are a couple different managers over at my local store that should know me well enough by now to let me bend their ear. I'll give it a go and report back. Thanks! JJ

    Frustrated with Home Depot

For a while now I have been watching their Ridgid MaxSelect Impact Driver. It was set at a huge price discount ($129 down to $49) but it was only available for purchase online but never in stock. Sunday I decided to do my semi-daily check and wham, it was there and available to order. So I...

    Husky Air Compressor

Hey man, hearing what you need it for I would say go for it. I do actually own it, use it for about the same things you list (do run nail guns, etc as well). Sure, it is not the quietest/best thing out there, but I can rotate/inflate tires, use nail guns, die grinders, etc just fine. It is...

please help me pick out a new cordless drill

This man speaks the truth! I have bought Many Many items from them and been extremely happy. Actually just got a NEW Ridgid 18v LiIon Autoshift drill from them a couple weeks back for only $129. They are getting better about deals for existing customers too, so buy something small to start...

New to board, thought I'd show off mine

Very nice spread! I am ready to get out of the burbs and into the country. That will be a few more years still.
