I work for a small industrial contracting company(welding, millwright) and we quit using fastenal a lonnnnnggg time ago they bend you over and tear you a new one without hesitation. We have a relationship with a company called Partsmaster and they're great. We get all fasteners and like items...

    Show your new tool arrivals

I was near downtown today after work so I stopped by the Sears parts store to see if they had anything. Most of it was power tools or newer stuff made in China, but I found this underneath some other tool sets. Now it may not look like much but I'm a younger guy(21) so USA made craftsman tools...

    Chevy Trucks 5.3L

I have an 07' 5.3L and I just did this last month. I tried to find a good way to do it and it's almost like it was a hit or miss thing... I saved all wires but if I had them on hand I would've replaced them all anyway. I tried a twist while pulling technique and it worked on 5 out of 8 boots but...

If you could start over what tool company would you pick

If I could go back in time before I was even alive then I'd stock up on old Craftsman Pro and USA stuff. As well as old Blackhawk USA. For current times..SK, Craftsman Industrial, Proto, Grey Pneumatic (impact stuff).

    Teach Me About Welding

Welding can be very dangerous if you do not know what you're doing. I agree to the comment about going to a community college and taking a basic course. It's nearly impossible to just figure out how to weld. There is so much to know. (Temperatures, types of metals, polarity, types of grooves and...

Do you keep your compressor pressurized when not in use?

Kill the power, close the valves and leave it pressurized for the next day.

Could not even remove lug nuts?!? (Milwaukee Fuel 3/8" M18 )

In theory yeah, but once you add up all variables it's a much better approach with a 1/2". Think of rust, weather, not fully charged battery, if you had an extension on.. Etc.

Could not even remove lug nuts?!? (Milwaukee Fuel 3/8" M18 )

You should use a 1/2 drive impact for lugnuts. That doesn't even make sense to use a 3/8. Right tool for the right job man.
