Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on thinning out Zinnser's BIN Primer to spray it out of an HVLP gun. Read the can, it says not to thin it but my HVLP only has a 1.4mm tip. Im spraying some MDF cabinet fronts.

not sure what topcoat im gonna use on the cabinet doors yet. the primer I'm using is Zennser BIN shellac based. Not sure if thats going to sway anyone's recommendations.

The local store here has some gravity fed ones on sale too for pretty cheap. Is there a difference in finish between the two ? or is it more in the technique?

east coast of canada. just wondering if its necessary on the ceiling as the attic space has sufficient ventilation and its a detached garage. Only heated with a space heater when I'm working out there.

I have a 24x24 detached and am insulating it this spring. I keep reading different opinions about putting vapor barrier on the ceiling. Just wondering what you guys think. Is it necessary?
