    Cole 72" Double Door Cabinet

I had been looking for a double door cabinet and had been checking the normal places, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, but they all seemed either very pricy or junk. A few weekends back I decided to wander through one of the Junkarama flee market stores we have around here, and came across this baby...

Finally getting a shop! Interior finishing advice?

OSB for me. I wanted to be able to hang anything anywhere, and didn't want it to dent or put a hole if bumped. Ran a quick swipe of latex calk between the panels with a putty knife just for good measure. Kilz original oil primer x2 coats, then exterior semi gloss latex x2. I read the water base...

Please don't judge me for asking this...

Still in progress. I have 6 inch orange baseboard molding. Took a bit to get the correct Gulf Blue.

    Gas & Oil Sign Gurus?

There was one on eBay listed for $1700, but didn't sell. They have a reproduction 24 inch for $80. I always found stuff is only worth what someone is willing to give you for it.:lol_hitti I think it's great - Hang it...

    My Rust Bullet install

Can any of you folks give a little better description of "roller marks". I experienced two things happening, all having to do with the wet edge. Starting out the material leveled well on the wet edge, but it cured darker where it rolled over, so you had this darker irregular stripe in the floor...

    Painting Garage floor

I'm not a concrete expert, but those don't look like expansion joints but control cuts. I'm told that concrete is going to crack - period... The cuts are supposed to give it a place to crack. I'm not sure of the cut debth vs crack, but mine are about 1 1/2 inches, and there is a crack down in...

    900 sq ft building (AC)

I'm working on a 28x34. Walls are up and insulated R13, but no ceiling, (8 ft), at this point (planned metal with R30). I put a 22,000 BTU GE in the wall. It actually keeps things cool without the ceiling in yet - cold air falls, but I have to be getting a lot of loss. I opted for the 22k...

    Ceiling Panels

The interior liner at 24 gage is actually almost twice as thick as the 29. My thought is it's overkill and more expensive. Looks like the Menards is about 28 gage. Their opening one here near me in the fall, it might be worth waiting. Any recommendations on cutting this stuff? I have some...

    Ceiling Panels

Yes GRA64, something got lost in your $ quote. I was looking on the Metal Sales web site and found those other profiles I mentioned in the industrial section. However, it looks like the lightest gage is 24 and lowest profile is 3/4. Looks like the Pro-Panel may still be the best bet. I was...

    Ceiling Panels

GAR64 got about the same #'s I got, $2.16 - 2.81 a linear foot, and its 3 feet wide. I got the $2.16 at HD, and $2.81 at PC Lumber. GAR's # comes to $2.40 a linear foot.

    Ceiling Panels

GAR64 - Thanks for the post. I was getting ready to start one because I'm looking at doing the same exact thing. I think MS had a very symmetrical square pattern, but I don't see it on their site any more. I agree the Pro-Panel looks about the lowest profile, 5/8 at the high points. I like the...

    Garage coating test -- Brakleen...

The question was about Brakleen, and in my opinion the most common chemical I would get on my floor. I don't know why I would be rubbing my floor with MEK. It also wasn't happy with Acetone for 20 minutes, but I don't know why I would do that either, unless intentional. I'm sure there are others...

    Garage coating test -- Brakleen...

I did a test with Rust Bullet. I had a tile painted with two coats, cured for about two weeks. I took a small cotton patch about 2"x2" and soaked with Brakleen (Red Can), placed it on the tile, covered it with a piece of plastic so it wouldn't evaporate and let it sit for 20 minutes...
