I am being quite serious. This wasn't intended to be a trolling comment. Not only do those nuts "just" hold the bar on, but they also are important to being sure the chain remains tensioned. That is pretty basic user level adjustment required for proper operation of any chain saw, not service...

Not to be obnoxious. But if you don't know what that nut does, you probably shouldn't be running it. Especially since its a top handle arborist saw.

I picked up a CS330T at the Waltham, MA store the other day for the 65.03 price. I have an older CS300 that needs a new brake cover assembly and bar and this was far cheaper than buying those and has the benefit of the new piston ported motor. Wish I could find a blower, but no luck.
