Does anyone else make this adapter?

A 1inch breaker bar, will typically be longer then a 1/2inch breaker bar, same goes for a ratchet. About grade 8 physics, suggests the longer the handle the more the force in torque or Nm is applied. More torque transmitted to the applied item increases more breakage. They typically make the...

Estwing dead blow - no more Trusty-Cook?

They are just hammers at the end of the day, aslong as it pounds in a nail, or drives a punch or hammers flat what you need, it doesn't matter where its made. These companies all sold their souls for profit long ago, in another 5 yrs there won't be much left made in USA since 1923 or not...

Does anyone else make this adapter?

why would you want this, its pointless, using a 1inch drive on 19mm and/or smaller socket your either going to break the socket or adaptor and get hurt on over torque, round off and possibly break the equipment your working on. Any of the 1/2inch drive sized sockets are questionable at best, on...

    ITC tools

Are the ITC brand tools any good I have a chance to buy a used 21 piece 3/4 dr SAE set, and wondering if they were good tools, I only have the odd 1/2 dr socket like 31/32, or 29/32 and a 3/8 ratchet.

    Princess Auto Powerfist

Did Princess Auto, change suppliers for their Powerfist Adj wrenches. I needed another 12inch adj wrench and I just wanted to buy a cheap one for the farm. Looked today and find that the "new" Powerfist series has really thin handles compared to before. Anyone else notice this?

    Compressor head gasket blew out

yes, you first will have to remove the Intake/Filter element and Valves (usually reed type) they typically should sit on top, of the individual cylinder(s). Replace the gasket and re-assemble. Not sure on the torque, call the mfg if not in the manual.

Wrench Proto vs. Wright vs. SK Advice

As said above everything about tools depends on what your using them for, I personal don't like full polished wrenches because they are slippery when wet, I like the Satin one, also we throw them around a work or drop them or drop **** on them, so full polished wrenches look like ****, quickly.

Wrench Proto vs. Wright vs. SK Advice

Sorry correction, is a couple years ago, before completely cheaping out, the Mastercraft Wrenches were Taiwanese made. It now appears that they are made in Chine. I haven't purchased a set in a couple years, I (my Dad actually may have bought them for me) purchased a professional series set of...

Wrench Proto vs. Wright vs. SK Advice

I use them like that aswell, some of them have square spots on them from being hit, and yet they haven't broken. When my brothers POS Dodge pickup, broke down on the side of the road, he called and asked for tools and parts, stopped at Cdn Tire and purchased the on sale socket set and...

Wrench Proto vs. Wright vs. SK Advice

As far as "rebranding" goes now. There are about 3 VFD mfg companies in the world. The VFDs are then purchased and then "rebranded". Tools such as wrenches are the same, some brands hardly mfg anything anymore, and farm out all the actual mfg of the tools. Gray Canada is one, their "hard...

Wrench Proto vs. Wright vs. SK Advice

Yes the Canadian Tire Mastercraft pro and max series, are now imports from Taiwan, they are rumored to be built by Stanley, in the same factory as Stanley MAC. I have no idea, if they are the same wrench, (from the same dies and forge hammers) but they are rumored to come from the same factory...
