Urn Shadow Box help please. Rookie woodworker.

My vote is for African Purple Heart. I'm not a woodworker, but my late father was. He used African Purple Heart on several presentation pieces, and they were beautiful. I know he also used a wood called "bubinga," and those pieces were very nice too. So sorry for the loss of your little girl.

    Polyurea Odor

I did my shop floor with polyurea. It is a very strong odor at the beginning, but it does get better. I had to stay out of my shop almost two weeks after putting the finish on. It was only unpleasant for the first month. After that it wasn't too bad.

The Derelict Ranch: The New Derelict Garage

Just finished your thread. Great job! I can see how it would feel overwhelming when you first moved in, but looks like you've done a great job! Love the house, shop, barn, tractors, quads, tools, etc. Really love the WWII jeep and the old Model T's. Thanks for sharing Jason

    It's just a garage!

Welcome! I have been here a while, but I haven't posted much. I spend most of the time looking at pics and reading about great shops and garages. The thing I take away from this site is the WILLINGNESS of so many people to help each other out. This is a great community. Have fun!

First GJ post. Polyurea application in Garage Condo

Thank you! Yes! Totally proud of it. I've never done anything like this. The polyurea application was so easy! I'd do it again! Next time I will pay for the preparation!:)

First GJ post. Polyurea application in Garage Condo

Yeah. 30 hours. If I would have just grabbed the Diamabrush from the start it would have been a lot faster. Oh man. I was smelling concrete dust for a week!

Thanks, Justin! Really appreciate all your help! I have been out of town for a couple weeks and haven't been to the shop. Here is one my wife took for me. Keep in mind this was at night. The floor looks great!
