    Dry/Cold Cut Metal Saws

I have a the M18 Milwaukee, I use it alot for cable tray, strut and threaded rod, no complaints at all. I do not reccomend the diablo blades at all fwiw.

M18 Fuel drill, hammer or no?

I use my Fuel hammer drill everyday as a commercial electrician. Its the 2604, the 2603 has the same torque with no hammer I believe. It doesnt have as much power as the 2611 but still enough to get the job done and easier to carry around all day hanging off a toolbelt. Rotary hammers and...

where to buy large crimp connectors

Do a search for the cheapo yellow handled 16t hydralic crimp tool, then source your lugs from an elecrtrical supply house. Im not sure what you mean by a **** connector but we use shearbolt connectors for joining conductors, they come in a variety of sizes and combinations of different sizes. It...

Cat paw prints in new concrete

I just had some trenches concreted on my site and local scumbags tagged it up with sticks, about 16hrs after the pour, scrubbed it with soapy water and cement dust then let it cure for rest of day and it was fine. The soap just helps the water spread. Sent from my GT-I9295 using Tapatalk

4 1/2'' Angle Grinder - What to buy

Ive had my 5 inch bosch for a while, no complaints. Theyre now banned on some sites unless they have anti kickback and a deadman paddle. I wouldnt recommend dewalt, quality isnt what it was, had a dewalt recip pull its stroke piston out and stuff up the blade clamp last 5th time I used it...

Menard's Masterforce Flare Nut Wrench Set

The masterforce levels probably dont have the same accuracy as the craftsman levels I have shown here. Stabila does say they sell vials that dont meet there tolerances and they have craftsman grade over their regular grade levels. Sent from my GT-I9295 using Tapatalk

Impact tool for carbide hole cutters?

Yep, large augers off the top of a ladder where the high torque drill would throw you using it with one hand get put in a socket that fits it with a 1/4" drive adaptor and wrapped up in tape. Same deal with holesaws on odd angles you know are going to jerk your wrist when the pilot breaks...

    Controls Screwdriver. What you got?

Wiha with the slim insulation. I carry Felo drivers on my toolbelt but the Wiha 3.5mm slotted is in most industrial guys top pockets. I was not impressed with Wera drivers.

    16mm sockets and wrenches.

So after a bit of research, for a 10mm diameter bolt the Japanese industrial standard is 14mm, the German standard is 17mm and the ANSI is 16mm. That explains a lot when we were changing out switchgear last saturday and couldn't figure out why we kept needing to change sockets on 10mm fixings...

    16mm sockets and wrenches.

Yes Im shopping for a set of metric wrenches now, I have the Bahco 200 piece set but so does every other tradesman in NZ so our stuff gets mixed up at work. Im looking at wrench sets and keep checking for the 16mm, Im liking the black oxide blackhawk 14 piece set. Sent from my GT-I9295 using...

    16mm sockets and wrenches.

Odd, maybe its just a thing in these parts that our 10mm fixings has 16mm nuts and heads

    16mm sockets and wrenches.

I was looking around for a set of impact sockets, just a small box to place inside a larger toolbox I use everyday and noticed that none of the sets had 16mm sockets then noticed the wrench sets had no 16mm wrench which struck me as odd because an M10 bolt or M10 all thread is the most common...

    Automatic center punch

An engraving tool might work, the type that works like a tattoo gun rather than the one with the mini burr.
