Over the course of my military career, and many PCS moves I can tell you this with absolute certainty......
I hate moving with the passion of a thousand burning suns
I had to keep lean on everything, and was routinely buying "good enough for the next 1-2 years" type tools that I would flip...
A post hole digger and forklift attachment I'd say are a necessity. Backhoe's are always useful and likely going to be needed as a ballast while you work.
Personally if you're below freezing you probably want to get the standard cooling only mini split and then get a heater installed in the garage. They don't work efficiently below freezing.
Personally I prefer the Southwire NCVD over many other brands. Receptacle testers are a dime a dozen so get whatever's cheap. Agree on the rest and highly recommend the Klein Kurve version of strippers. I have the NM ones as well as the standard ones. By far the most comfortable I've used...
Well **** on a cracker they open it up to ALL HF jack stands and I had returned just the recalled ones the day prior. Guess next time I'm there (about an hour away) I'll return the other set I have.
If someone tries to load a full toolbox into a truck/trailer they're a special kind of pants on the head retarded. I unloaded mine, pushed the empty box in, and reloaded it once inside. It wasn't loaded with tools either, it was loaded with paintings/artwork or other fragile stuff that needed...
Having removed carpet and put in LVP I'd recommend you go with taller baseboards. There's a "ratio" of sorts in regards to baseboard heights and ceiling heights. I ended up repariing the drywall and re-using the builder grade special MDF just to keep costs down and get the job done faster. We...
I grabbed a new needle nose, cheap flush cut, and a magnetic 11-in-1 to try out. I didn't even think to look at hole saws, might have to check those out as well.
I've moved a LOT with the military. ABF U-pack is the best option IMHO. Now as for your stuff here's my take.
Welder - coin toss keep or sell. Depends on model, age, and your needs
plaz - coin toss keep or sell. Depends on model, age, and your needs
large bottle on single cart (near new) -...
I have one set that's affected, one that isn't. I'm seriously thinking about ditching both and just biting the bullet on getting quickjacks instead. Always wanted a lift, and they seem like a good option....albeit an expensive one.
13" planer
Corded random orbital
Gen 4x drill and driver
Octane 1/2" impact (not the big dawg one)
18V flood/spotlight combo that can hook onto 2x material
radio
Haven't had a lick of trouble from any of them. Keep waiting for a good deal on the octane circular saw, jigsaw, and recip saw.
Is the magnetic 11-in-1 worth getting? I've got the original version, and love it...except when I inevitably drop it and it pukes itself apart. Haven't had much issue with the bits pulling out in use, but mines only about 1.5yrs old.
