    Branick 580

A good friend of mine has a Branick MST-580 that he paid $100 for. We just used it this week on the front OEM coil-overs on my 2010 Cadillac CTS-V. Worked great on that coil-over, we had it apart and a new damper swapped in a few minutes!

    Cheap lift?

I bypassed the cheap lifts with questionable quality and parts availability, saved up more money and purchased a USA made lift from a local auto equipment dealer. That dealer’s technicians delivered and installed it. Sure, it was a lot more money, but I have the peace of mind of having a...

    Yes, another lift thread

That Bendpak PL-6000DC looks interesting! I just had a Challenger CL4P7 installed in the 3rd bay of my garage. This bay has interior dimensions of 114.5 wide by 222.5 by 12’ 7” tall at peak. Pretty small footprint overall. The Challenger is the only lift I could find which would fit in this...

    More 4 Post Lift Questions

I always keep a car in the air on my Challenger lift. If it were empty, I would keep it up so I don’t trip over it. I always take the ramps off as my garage is tight and I want the head clearance. I also don’t trust them to “just hang there”. My lift has a backstop which installs over the...

    Socket Organization

I am a hobbyist who works on his cars as time allows. For the past 30 years, I am used individual socket rails to organize my sockets in order of increasing size. that has worked well with me as I like to take a rail with me to find the proper socket, and my old toolbox had small drawers. An...
