Has Anyone Used Clear Plastic Curtains on Gazebos or Carports? If so, Please Share Pictures and Experiences.

I would check with a boat canvas shop nearby. Sunbrella fabric and fasteners on the "inside". Can be DIY if you have sewing machine.

Is double bubble enough to heat and cool without having to add more insulation?

I lived North of Crossville, and when I built 6 years ago, I blew in 12-15 inches and was quite happy with the results. While you are in there, do as much as you can, as you seldom get the chance to do it later, with out making a mess.

Maple bed frame is cracked. Help me fix it please.

I would use epoxy instead of glue, hypodermic makes it easy to fill the crack and then clamp it until it dries Check out west System

    ETC crimper / staking tool

probably early 1970's as we started switching from cad weld cartridges to this mechanical connection to solder/weld and so on for building/antenna grounds. Usually needed something to set it on, to get the proper amount of torque for the wire sizes indicated on the pin plate. As a lowly...

Do copper pipes inhibit growth of nastiness?

keep in mind that copper is often the major anti growth of bacteria - on sail/power boat bottoms. IE fairly toxic at the molecular level.

Good affordable epoxy brand for basement?

Caution...this is not an area to skimp on. Prep needs to be done, water evaluated and product selected. DO NOT mix manufacturers, unless and if you can get them to provide in writing to you and each other. Paint is paint, and is a coating. Nothing more. Good luck and I would take advantage...

Sunex tool club (? Can’t remember the name)

https://teamsunex.sunextools.com/#/offers, but no offers at this time. Was pretty neat for the time it was around, I trialed a couple of torx drivers and did the reviews. Got to keep the items when finished.

    Mildew insulation barn question

moisture and temperature have to be controlled to get rid of mildew. When really bad - a chemical can be applied. Two real ways to deal with it..ignore it and go on, can't recommend this. SO that leaves mitigation and as you are finding out, that is a multi opinion task. IF drying it out...

    New HVAC Installation Costs?

replacements are just that...I would contact several HVAC shops and have them assess what was installed 20 years ago. Take a seat and go over their proposals. It will not be inexpensive. We had the F-i-L's unit replaced about a year ago and it was $15K, that did 3.5 ton and fair amount of...

Quotes for 3 car garage epoxy? Reasonable?

location can play a big part...these both sound high, but the market is high. Not sure it is $7-8 a square high. CHeck with the supplier of your epoxy on prep and how long to wait since poured and water seepage possible/testing. DIY is labor intensive and you are under a stop watch to...

    New house question.

paint first, so as to not mess up the nice new floor. Make sure the floor is dry, not weeping and ready for prep. Flooring should meet your needs, tile porcelin or ceramic, grout or not and so on. If you are welding the epoxy might be best or perhaps coating that can easily be "patched" or...
