    moving a inoperative Bobcat

Instead of trying to move the bobcat and paying a wrecker to winch it out of your backyard, why not call the Bobcat dealer and have them fix your hydraulic line where it is. Cat and John Deere have been fixing equipment in the field for at least the last 50 years. You pay extra for this service...

    Damaged Husky Toolbox

I would keep the box, but request a 50/60% discount and settle for 40%. Then insert a 2x4 in the corner whack it with a hammer and remove the dent. Like new! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    New Garage Smell

A lot of the FEMA trailers used after Katrina had formaldehyde in the insulation with resulting complaints. I would check with the installer for source of insulation. Painted metal is just painted meal and should not have an odor. Buy a really BIG fan from Home Depot or Lowe’s and ventilate...

    New Garage Smell

What brand of insulation? That may be your issue as some insulation off gasses until the binder drys. I would complain to the manufacturer and installer. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    New Home=New Garage

A friend of mine has a similar garage set-up except that he has 2 -2 car garages. His house would go to the left of of your current 2 car garage and his working garage drives straight in. The working garage has high ceilings so a lift or pair of lifts could be installed. He also has a pad to...

Festool Track Saw Rail Storage Solution

I hope that you re-balanced the garage doors. If not, you have the potential to break springs or garage door openers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Think I found a Honda screw on cap to use w/ Motive Pressure Bleeder

One thing I found with the Motive bleeder. Only use the bleeder to provide pressure. I found that when I used the bleeder as designed with brake fluid in the reservoir, that the brake fluid damages the hoses over time. I had one explode on me and sprayed brake fluid-everywhere. Sent from my...

    Adding insulation to garage door?

I used insulation board cut to fit. Unfortunately, I did not have the horizontal bracing on each panel like you do which led to my door developing a split in the middle of the door at the top. As previously mentioned, the door also needs to be balanced. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Why do Germans love Torx so much?

THIS is why I love Miata’s. 8,10,12,14,16 mm wrenches and a couple of JIS or Phillips screwdrivers and you can take the car completely apart. My hat is off to you for your persistence in using the right wrench of your varied fasteners. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Why do Germans love Torx so much?

For many Audi services, the book calls for replacing ALL Fasteners EVERY time. One time use fasteners, like aircraft. I guess it eliminates the possibility of broken or stripped fasteners. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Any Deals At The Pawnshop Lately?

Our local pawn shop that has the most tools also has the highest prices. They would not negotiate on a rusted 8” Proto adjustable wrench simply because it was a Proto. I think I paid $10 for it. The others were $4 or 5. It cleaned up nicely, but could have been cheaper. Snap on stuff is pricy...

    Flammable storage in garage/furnace question

I would consider moving the paint cabinet to the other side of the garage. Fumes and sparks do not go well together. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Need help identifying this tool

You will notice that it looks a lot like a standard claw hammer. If a rope powered wire stretcher is not available, a claw hammer may be used to tighten short sections of barbed wire. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
