Wow! Bet you go back to the next flea market. I personally don't worry to much about names or initials on tools. I'd rather see the initials than see a ground off spot where someone removed them.
Estate sales can be brutal. If you go early, you are competing with the dealers. Most are good people, but some see you as trying to undercut them. They feel you should be buying from them and not from their source. The one that gets me is when they fill up their box really fast without looking...
I've got a few of the K-mart ones marked Taiwan. If I can get them for 25 cents (why is there no cents symbol on the keyboard?) I grab them. Fun just for the "it's from both Taiwan and K-mart!?!" Still a better wrench than anything from HF.
The grey tube was Testors filler, like bondo. Orange tube was the good glue. Then the blue tube, the safe stuff, which would have been fine if it had actually worked as glue, which it didn't do very well.

Good score! There is a local pawn shop that has tons of old tools. I try to make it down there at least once a month. Only downside is he prices Snap-on and Craftsman at new retail prices and won't come down. He says "you guys are just going to exchange them for brand new ones anyway." Well, no...
What auto makers provided wrenches that were marked with the car makers name? We've all seen the Ford wrenches, but what else is out there? I have seen Ford, Fiat, BMW, Mercedes, Austin, and Toyota.
