Looks like its an old map cabinet. I'd pay $200 for it especially if its metal. Just think how much you would pay for a tool box that size. Its rather large. You can paint it what ever color you want and there's still room on top for another box, bar fridge, etc. Go for it!!!!

I'm doing mine the same as Jim above except instead of the cement board I'm going to use an 8" wide piece of white PVC trim board. You can get it with a wood grain. It is 1 1/4" thick.

I built these out of 2 x 12 LVL beams left over from my house build. I guess you could make them out of regular wood, the LVL was free for me. Lift the car and set these under the tires, the angled pieces hold the tire in place. Of course, if you are doing any brake work etc. these won't work...
