    What is this?

The bandaids are from splitting kindling. My boy scout hatchet has been dull for over 20 years, so I finally decided to sharpen it. I got it shaving sharp like it should be, and then promptly forgot I sharpened it. Enter the bandaids.

It has upstream wire that is definately 120v the down stream is cloth covered wire that is breaking down. The new thermostat is fed from the new furnace and the doorbell doesn't work, so I guess it can go away. Thank yall for all the great responses. I really appreciate it. Sent from my...

    What is this?

A few years ago we converted to central air from a gas fired boiler. The company removed the boiler but left some of the wiring that I am trying to clean up. I am curious to what this item is. It has 120 to it as well as what looks like the old thermostat wires. Is it a co monitor? Sent from...

Yeah I agree it is overkill, but we had the 2x6's left over from construction and the 6x6's were left over from my buddy's pole barn, they were just long enough work had about an inch left over. Now as for the doubled up ply, I originally wanted to do a butcher block but that is really cost...

Thanks for the compliments. We would have loved to do brick all the way up but they don't make our style of brick anymore and we didn't want the entire structure to be "close enough". If you look closely the brick doesn't match exactly but for the little bit showing it isn't too bad.

Built a workbench for the garage. 6x6 and 2x6 construction, topped with two layers of 3/4" hardwood plywood.

So I got myself and the garage an early Christmas present. Bought it on eBay, paid way too much, but it is a testament to american craftsmanship. I can't wait to get the bench built and get it mounted! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's a 1979 Cj5. I've owned it for 7 years but has been in various stages of rebuild during that time. Being as it has been at various rental garages since I've owned it, i've only put about 25 miles on it! Hopefully I will be able to spend more time on it now that it is just out the back door...

So after a month and a half of the framers not showing up. While we were waiting we went ahead and had them plan and build the connection. They finally finished framing and siding last week. The electrician will finish up this week. Getting down to the little things like paint, doors, and gutters.
