    Is this a really old style Stahlwille torque wrench handle? I always thought they were smooth plastic and not ribbed?... I'm asking because I can buy one for cheap, but I don't want it if it's 40 years old :D

    Update: I returned them to the shop and got a new one which closes perfectly. So it definitely was a defective one. :thumbup:

    By the way, do you guys think this kind of gap is normal for high quality tools like these Knipex... Or are these pliers defective? The angled version I bought don't have a gap when it's closed...

    I'm looking for a torx/Etorx socket set, but those Gedore/Hazet/Stahlwille sets are a couple of hunderds euros... So I found these two. or Anybody has ever used one of these? Proxxon or Carolus. How do they compare to the top German manufacturers?
