So wyliesdiesels, when you say bond the building to the panel, is it just a question of attaching a #6 copper wire to the metal frame itself then to the ground bar in the panel?

I built a 2 x 4 frame in between the metal joist's and its attached to a plywood backer board. So the panel is not attached to metal. The panel is grounded to a 8 foot grounding rod via a # 6 grounding wire....
