    Free Parking Debate

Thank you MC for bringing "free parking' back soon! I for one was not phased much by the political and religious views expressed... just something to skip over. I know my views on the two subjects and have never felt the need to cram them down someones throat via argument. I am even less likely...

Interesting, ballast where you want won't get you back to the GT4 weight? My experience is all GT1.... What is your goal? "Win the Runoffs" or go play at fun tracks in regionals or nationals?

    Odd vise whats it for?

Posting the patent number would be enough to go find it. The one I found was dated 1898 and must have been an earlier version. Again, very cool vice! I would be torn between using it and keeping it just for it's... errrr... coolness! Maybe a compromise.... someplace in the garage where it will...

    Odd vise whats it for?

Cool vise you have there! Does the label have a patent number? I just did a quick search on Google Patents for a "removable jaw hanson vise" and it returned a very similar (but not the same) vise with the same forked jaws. It even had a hand crank drill attachment.
