    Lufkin Shockforce

OK, let's state that I am a retired flooring contractor, not retired yet, however retired from from flooring. In my humble opinion the Stanley 25 footer performs best. I struggled with others, feed out, retracting, size, weight, readability, etc. The cross beam lasers are fabulous for layout...

    Lufkin Shockforce

I am a flooring contractor by trade and my tape measure is the equivalent of a welders gloves or a plasterer's finish trowel. Stanley 25 footer for me. Not 30, not Fatmax and certainly not a laser (although I do own one). Just my 2 cents.

    Snap-On Box Restoration. Maybe...

Love the feedback all! I'll keep it and restore it. Obviously, and just like the rest of you, I need another tool box. I may not get to it right away, but I'll post as I get on with it!

    Snap-On Box Restoration. Maybe...

Received this box into our shop post garage fire. Not sure if it is a good candidate for restoration or not. It rolls nicely and all drawers open and close easily. My options are to set it aside for restoration or junk it. Opinions?

    Stumped (pun intended)!

Contacted Stihl USA from the phone number on their website. Took a minute to get to a "Tech", however told him which saw I had and which parts I was looking for and he rattled off the parts numbers post haste. Located the local Ace Hardware that is a Stihl dealer. Did have to order the parts and...

    Stumped (pun intended)!

Just trying to prevent the trip to the dealer. Can be a dangerous trip for me as I don't want a new saw, just parts to maintain mine. If you are catching my drift...

    Stumped (pun intended)!

I am looking for quality replacement parts for my Stihl chainsaw. All I can find on epay and amazing are off-brands, etc. Maybe they are fine, I am not sure. Does anybody know where to purchase either genuine Stihl or other high quality replacement parts (hoses, filters, etc.)? Thanks, Robert

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Went to Home Depot and bought a simple wardrobe/utility cabinet ($99), put it together w/ a couple of minor modifications and now have a nice motorcycle gear cab. Fit helmets, jackets, gloves, boots, etc. Oh yeah, watched football!

    Lowering my lift caution

Pardon me while I tell my "scary" story. Same issue, stops are out of adjustment a bit. I had removed the driveshaft from my car in prep to remove trans. No parking brake on. Not only did my car start rolling as one of the safety locks did not disengage, but there was no way to stop it. It must...

    Bendpak 4 Post Lift Removal

Update: Pulled the trigger on the lift. It is a Bendpak HD-9XW. It is a 2012 model, so approximately 4 years old. It came with a rolling bridge jack and 3 oil trays. $2500. I was going to attempt to dismantle, move and re-install myself, however found an installer through Bendpak that did it for...

    Bendpak 4 Post Lift Removal

Thanks guys. The position that it's in and the height of the door opening will most likely require dismantle. I appreciate the ideas.
