Looking for an idea for cutting tool

Yes, casings. Empty brass, spent shells, whatever you wanna call them. Cutting the end off like a coin, so as to read the caliber/size etc. Sometimes removing the primer and replacing with a jewel/gemstone.

Looking for an idea for cutting tool

Wife has recently been making bullet jewelry, and cutting the slices of bullet cases has proven to be the most difficult part of the process. Been using a Dremel tool with cut off wheel, takes forever. Made a jig for the bandsaw, bullet gets too hot. Been putting some of the longer cases in my...

    Used Matco 72". Worth $1700?

Not a bad deal, but not a great one. Decent box, might last ya a long time, but not as big as it looks on the truck. Short for a guy like me, at 6'5", but worth thinking about.

Fedwrench, how's the cleaning brushes? I bought a set off the matco truck a while back and they are pretty much done for, that looks like a more extensive set. And how did you get the try before you buy set? My helper needs one lol

    Small impact Allen socket/bits

I find my cordless ratchet my go to for things like that lately, gets almost everywhere and easy to control. Bit wise, I use them till they break, grab another and warranty later. A locking bit holder will change your outlook on individual bits. Also, Chris, I could work some of your products...

    Best cordless LED drop light?

That snap on light is great, just wish I had two, or it would last all day on a charge. My most used is my snap on stick that uses the 14.4 batteries, goes dead, just swap and keep working. Would love to test drive the bigger sabre light, bought a mini one that was awesome, but can't find it....

How much do you have into your tools?

Replacement value, like insurance company write a check to replace it all tomorrow at retail price, probably between 45-50 k. Boxes and carts alone would be 20k. If I started over I would probably a,change profession, and b, buy a couple smaller used boxes, like classic 78/96 one for a "cart" one...

    External Torx

Have a couple sets, first one usually grabbed is the cheap nieko ones off Amazon. Seems they are designed thicker walled, so I've yet to break one and justify a more expensive set. Also have used 12 point wrenches in tight access situations. BMW starter bolts use a 3/8 ratchet wrench, cause it's...

    Tap Sockets

I use mine 9 times outta ten. Allows some combos that shouldn't be possible. Like using a universal and extension etc.

Ok, I'll be the first to ask, where did you find the shorter plier racks? And do they come in green?

    Storing Nuts and Bolts

That is cool. And inspiring. I have a couple of the Durham style cabinets, about 6 extra drawers, and a portable plano case with electrical at work. At home I have a couple of the harbor freight organizers, and a bunch of different clear drawer ones. Still have a couple 5 gallon buckets to sort...

Old blueprint service cart, question regarding resale

I bought that cart with a mac logo 15+ yrs ago, one drawer and the prybar holder for $200. Add a drawer was 60, shelf 25-30. Bought one recently, snap on, no drawer, no lid, and he threw in a shelf he had laying around for 160. I had to piece it together to get the color I wanted.
