I think the best option will be to set the compressor in the corner where I can direct some of the noise out the door (when open) for the neighbors to enjoy, pipe in a trap halfway down the line, and pipe in a split next to the cabinet - one for the cabinet and one for the reel.

I just picked up an import beast off CL. I'm not an import fan but the size for $30 was too good to pass up. I'm in the process of building a new blast cabinet so it'll be a week or two before the restoration gets started.
