Yes, Red and White wires. It will fire when I short those wires. It is a millivolt system. The red wire on the thermostat.

Thanks to everyone that responded. I'll give it a whirl. I was hesitant due to having to mount it 18" off of the ground as that puts the fan pretty close to the ceiling. Walls are insulated (R13), ceiling / attic soon to follow with R38. M!ke

Can someone lend me some knowledge on pros/cons of using an oil based paints on the exterior? My thinking is that it is more durable than the water based paints and it is rumored that oils are a deterrent for woodpeckers.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. M!ke

Heli-coil should do it, and most instances would be stronger than the original.It'll require you to drill out the original threads, tapping and installing a thread insert. M!ke
