i had to replace a head gasket during a respray on my car, i used cardboard from a cereal box and it lasted fine and it's still on there, i did notice the head bolts were loose though, so i think it's a good idea to check them every so often

i picked up a tool assistant about 4 months ago, haven't even used it yet :O

here's a photo of a hammer drill with a normal chuck that WILL drill concrete, 50mm according to the sticker on the drill, this is what people used before SDS came along, agreed SDS is a better action, if you look close even the shanks are threaded for extending them ;)

not keen on the type of separator you're using, i prefer after removing the nut, to thread it back on (mainly to protect the thread from stray hits) and use my 3/4" round steel bar and lump hammer to shock it, you can hit either side of the upper/lower arm and its easy then trying to hold 2...
