Snap On Tool box serial numbers

I'm not sure if it applies to boxes that old, but the newer boxes have a sticker on the inside bottom, if you remove the bottom drawers you should be able to see it.

    Canadian Lighting options

I'm currently in the process of buying a house with a 26x26 heated garage. It has a single double door, and currently has a hodge podge of what I can only assume are garage sale lights. I'd like to go to a uniform lighting solution and wondering if anyone has any experience as to how much, what...

    Air Pressure For Tools

It's not likely you will run then over the rated rpm with too much pressure. It's flow that makes the speed.

    OTC Prybar Worth it???

They are decent pry bars. I have a few that I have beat te **** out of almost daily for 3 years now. My only complaint is that my longest one. Which I believe is a 36" is far too flexy.

Why does anyone purchase a tool box brand new off the truck?

I seem to have come under fire for answering the question. As for needing to spend 8k to get good warranty it's not neccecsary, and I didn't mean it like that, what I meant was because I am a good customer of my snap on guy he is more than willing to bend quite a few warranty rules for me, as...

Why does anyone purchase a tool box brand new off the truck?

Not quite like that. More like you subtract 10k from your taxable income. Somewhat like contributing to a retirement plan. Perhaps in the USA, but not in Canada.

Why does anyone purchase a tool box brand new off the truck?

I bought new for several reasons. 1: I got exactly what I wanted. I didn't have to live with someone else's color choice, or model. 2: it was far easier to just trade my old box in than sell it and deal with all of the kijiji no show's and dreamers. 3: The only box of the model I wanted...

    Vintage Cornwell mechanics creeper/seat?

I can't speak to the value at all, but man is that thing cool looking. It would fit right in in a vintage garage.

    Facom in Canada

Is there a source for facom tools in Canada? Or somewhere online with reasonable shipping. I just saw in another thread that the Mac ratcheting wrenches I have and love are made by them, and have been considering a couple more sets. Wouldn't mind checking out their pricing.

    ingersoll rand pawn shop find

6.2 bar is the same as 90psi. Bar is another form of pressure measurement. Think inches vs centimetres.

What was this tool used for?

The battery crimpers had a small "die" for lack of a better term tha would come down into the v on the bottom. That is not a battery terminal crimper. But perhaps a cutter as others have suggested

    ATTN HIBALL! Pallet jack!?!?

I imagine that it would not be hard to get parts local to you, any hydraulic place would have all the seals and such you would need. Can't imagine a problem with the hard parts that wouldn't be solved easily

    mac tools

I have found that all of the newer Mac stuff I have bought is no where near the quality of the older stuff some guys in the shop have. There are some Mac tools I have that I could t go without. And a lot that I have been slowly upgrading to snap on as they break because I no longer have a Mac...
