    The "pedestrian" garage

Tinbender! Great progress with the boards (& pond... lol). I haven't checked in here for quite a while. Busy with life, etc. Things are looking great there! Love the bowtie. I always enjoy browsing the red and black theme too. Best Regards, -C

    Grunge Garage

Bill, I am still here and lurking on occasion. I want to remind you of your goal for Thanksgiving this year... and in order to do that this new-found motivation will need to be converted into resolve and determination. The clock is ticking, don't pretend it's a long way away because time has a...

    Salt Life Hideout

Thanks for the incredible pics. I need to get out and get the family to one of these shows... My brother took lessons in Rockwall, before he moved back this way. Lessons are on my bucket list... Best Regards, -C

    The Mithril Garage... Seriously?

Ok. Finally. Here are two pics of the wiring and the trench. Dug these out from December. The wiring replaced the 12/3 romex that was buried about 6 inches underground and run from a breaker inside the house to the outlets on the inside of the door that you see in the first pictures... The new...

    The Mithril Garage... Seriously?

Spring is springing. I should be posting a few updates (w/pics) in the coming weeks. Just a peek: Power! Water! (both actually made it _to_ the shop!) Looking into roof repairs (house & shop) and concrete (driveway and shop)... Much more stuff in the shop, much more junk out of the shop...

    Grunge Garage

Bill, Keep in mind that almost _everything_ in print that you have can be reclaimed simply by using a search engine online. If you feel you need a "copy" then save your findings on a pc or mobile device. Thus, no need to fear losing the pictures or articles of mags/books/newspapers/etc...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT 1950s Craftsman Garage retro remodel

Whew... Lots of catching up. Good progress from here, even if it seems small to you. Definitely continuing to come together. Can't wait to see more when you have the time! Best Regards, -C

Above 1200 Sq/FT The ASYLUM - Happy 40th Birthday to Me! (Est. 2005)

Hey shopnut, I just got caught up on your thread again. Sorry to hear of the setback. But most importantly I'm glad you're ok and it wasn't anything more serious. "Sounds" like lots of cool stuff going on as you begin your recovery. Can't wait to see what ideas form out of all this... :) Best...

    The "pedestrian" garage

Cool ideas Wingnut65. I'm usually all for symmetry, but this time I was thinking it would look good left as-is. I'm on board with 'accent them'. Would be a good place to distinguish odd or items that don't fit in easily elsewhere... Then again, maybe that's why it was _just_ a thought...

    The "pedestrian" garage

Yup... definitely diggin' the desk and the cabinets. You know, speaking of that last bay, it just means you get to start going back north while filling in all the overlooked spaces! :bounce: I know you'll be glad to get started on the rolling metal... :) Best Regards, -C

    The Mithril Garage... Seriously?

One month to the day... and no real updates other than the leaks are dwindling. Two remaining and one is a seam, not a puncture. We've had a lot of personal events consume the last several weeks, so I'm trying to get back onto the bandwagon and get some things done. Thanks and Best Regards, -C

    Grunge Garage

Hey Bill, It's been a while since I've posted. I've been quietly watching and riding the waves of emotion. I'm glad to see steady progression. Posting pictures is great for accountability. Plus, it sounds like you have quite the motivation now... The flooring is a great incentive but...

    The Mithril Garage... Seriously?

Hi NUTTSGT... Very observant. I think the building just had a sloped tin roof to begin with as the joists slant from the front to the middle beam and then are flat from the beam to the rear. It seems the rafters and the current tin were afterthoughts added at a later time. Minor Update...
