Surprisingly reasonable priced snap on tools?

The Snap-on 47CF multi-position slip joint pliers may not be inexpensive, but I did expect them to be more. I did get one and have to say that this is now my go to pliers. I really like the option of the third position. Gripping teeth are solid and do really hold. Nice pair of pliers for...

Missing Snap On dealer part 2

" May offer a (weekly) payment plan for people who aren't exactly bad credit, but just can't seem to make a payment unless they are reminded" MN4X4 The importance of the weekly payment plan is huge. Professional Technicians have come to expect a weekly payment plan with no interest. There...

    SDSP42 vs. SDDP42?

The SDS Snap-on screwdrivers were introduced around 1995, the first catalog I see them in was catalog 300 which was 1995. They were first developed to serve technicians in Japan because of their smaller hand size. The last catalog I see them in was in 2000. So they must have been...

looking at getting new tool box..

Have all the tool guys give you a quote on a similar size box with yours on trade. That will give you an idea of fair market value. Your might also be surprized on who gives you the best deal, I had every dealer who came into my shop trying to get my trade. Mark

    Which box krl1032 or Mb1900?

My money is on the Snappy. http://www.theundisputedchamp.com The video might just be marketing b.s. but the "round 7" it what sold me. The way the top panel is welded makes sense, the number of welds makes sense. I drank the kool aid and I so far I've not looked back.

Snap-on's Latest Kool-Aid, in Motor Age Magazine

I bought a set after I priced the comparable MATCO set, MATCO was $675.00. Seemed like a good deal to me. The Cornwell set was like $200.00 but they were MADE IN TAIWAN.

    Matco's newest tool cart

Is this being made by MATCO? Or is it sourced? My MATCO man hasn't been here since Dave's post. Mark

    Snap on Cabinet, SPP 814

This was a curio cabinet built as an award/incentive for Snap-on dealers. It was built in the late 1990's. I believe that these originally came with Faultless casters, looks like the dealer must have taken them off. Nice find!

    Snap-on 1/4'' body 3/8'' drive? whats the part #

Looks like the FC72 is the 1/4 drive handle with the 3/8 square drive with 72 tooth. I also see there is an FCF72 flex head version.

    dual 80 or 88

I've been lurking here for a while and have not posted before maybe this wasn't the way to start. I'm an avid tool junkie, mostly Snap-on stuff. I've been using tools for almost 25 years and have a decent collection of tools. Maybe I'll try this again. I have both ratchets and I like...
