    well with the mild temps in our winter I guess I will only put a vapor barrier under my concrete. actually 2 layers.

    huh? I thought it goes on the side with the metal . so you have from the outside in...... metal siding,vapor barrier,insulation,inside panel. is that wrong?

    240 v neutral vs. ground

    basic rule of thumb . the ground is for people protection. the neutral is for equipment protection. all extra current not used travels back on the neutral . that's why if you ever get shocked off of a neutral ....hang on cause its gonna hurt. you are not protected by the trip of a breaker.....

    I haven't told you all but my contractor is constructing the poles and a roof . I will be taking care of the rest . Im going to let him do all the high stuff .

    framing garage doors in a pole building.

    ok thanks guys . how about the header ? is it just 2- 2x12 ? or do I need to get a laminated beam of sorts?
