    Downstream GFI question

wanted to install a GFI outside my garage, but it kept tripping the upstream GFI that was first in the circuit. This is the circuit: The wires from the Panel box come into the first GFI outlet in the circuit, and attach to the "LINE" side of the GFI. I then have wires running from that...

Concrete Pad for 2 Post Lift Question

Yes you're right. It is inadequate. I should have poured a long slab. I will be digging out and pouring new concrete in the middle of the two slabs I poured, essentially connecting the two slabs, making one long slab.

prepping a used Mohawk lift for install

Hey question for you. Did you have the concrete poured before you installed the lift? The reason I ask is do you have 2 separate pads that you poured or 1 long one? I poured 2 large separate pads (1 for each post) about 16" deep. I have the A7 7k lb capacity.

    220 vs 240 outlet questions

Hey quick question that maybe you AC guys can explain. Obviously when you're charging up an automotive AC system, it is accomplished by filling on the low side. The freon in the low side line comes from the evaporator as a low pressure gas back to the cars AC compressor. However, I noticed...
