It's actually a damn nice machine. It's target is the home builder that may not need all the bells and whistles of some of the more expensive machines. It has recieved great reviews from the accomplished welders that have tried it. Yea, you don't have some of the adjustability, but it does most...
Thanks for the info guys. The Redheads seem to have worked fine.
JCS-- yea, we have a Home Depot now...we're high fallutin! Got a Marriot now, Super Walmart coming, we're big city folk.:bounce:
Couldn't tell. You could only see the threads going into the concrete. I've had people say to have them "shot" in, epoxied in, etc.
I picked up a box of the RedHeads and a masonry bit today. Should be fine for what I need.
Noob question....
I have a smallish light metal building. 12x24. It had been installed at my old house, and I've moved it to the new one. I'm wondering what's the best/simplest way to anchor it to the concrete? I know there are numerous methods, and I've done none of them, so I'm hoping you can...
So from my search, I gather either CDI makes the Snap-On Tq wrenches, or Snap-On makes the CDI...correct? Are they the same quality?
I just picked up a CDI 1/2" Model 2503LDFN (0-250lb.ft)dial gauge wrench for about $55 shipped off EBAY-...
Goooood to hear. Thanks much.

Got 2 Snap-On ratchets for Xmas. Both are a blackish oxide kinda finish. Almost looks like they are unfinished or something. Are these something funky? Got 1 GS936 and 1 GF936.
Finally got the compressor in and hooked up. It's louder than I hoped. Lot's of intake noise mainly. My buddies is outside, so it wasn't as noticable. I'll probably move this one outside as well.
As far as output.....it rocks so far. Heck, during break-in with the drain open, it still built a...
I just purchased one, as they had a coupon to get it for $129.
Pulled a motor yesterday with it. Seems fine so far. Wheels don't pivot real easily, but for the price, I can deal with that.
Are you still at this? Good lord, go work on something will you?
I personally know 1 person with this compressor and have spoken with numerous others. Just because mine isn't wired yet doesn't mean I have no experience with the compressor.
Arguing about why your 24cfm compressor is better than...
