    Shipping Container for Storage in Western Washington - Condensation, Placement, and Insulation

    I am thinking about getting a shipping container for storage. I am located on the rainy side of Washington. Should I expect issues with condensation and sweating? Is it best to place it directly on gravel or elevated? Would insulation in this climate be required to prevent issues? Thanks!

    A metal detector may work. Often times concrete tanks have rebar on the lids for a handle.

    Does anyone know which code section to refer to regarding boring holes in blocking between floor joists? I have 2x10 floor joists and need to cut a 6 1/4" hole for a range hood duct in order to vent this to the outside.
